Vampire: Renunciation

Vampire: Renunciation is a role-playing game (RPG) in the visual novel genre with elements of turn-based combat. The story unfolds in a world similar to ours and covers the period from the beginning of the 21st century, in the city of Houston, Texas. The main character, Jonathan Gorden, got into a difficult life situation. Working as a freelance journalist, he finds himself involved in a series of unusual events. The protagonist's decisions and actions depend on the player's choice, which will lead to consequences (desirable or not). Make your choice as if the character's life depended on you and try to hold out until the end in these dangerous, turbulent times.

The game is distributed under license WoD Unbound.

The game is in "Early Access" (approximately 2-3 hours of gameplay). The plot of the early version of the game tells about the adventures of the hero "before the embrace".

• in the game there is the possibility to level up and equip the character.
• the game is fully voiced in English (there is also a translation of the text to Russian). The multi-voice acting is done using AI technologies.
• all locations and dialogues with NPCs in the game are presented in detail in the form of pictures created using AI technologies (841 high-resolution images).
• the game is made using the rules of Vampire: The Masquerade (5th edition).

28.03.2025 (03/28/2025) - added game version 0.3.9 (Windows). Added new items to game merchants. Reduced difficulty of fighting hooligans (Clover Street). Improved functions for accounting for buffs/equipped items when upgrading character parameters. Improved UI animation for gaining experience. Fixed some bugs in the achievement system. Fixed some character inventory UI errors.

09.03.2025 (03/09/2025) - added game version 0.3.8 (Windows). Added achievement system. Difficulty of some checks in the game has been reduced.

05.03.2025 (03/05/2025) - added two new versions of the game for Android. Game saves work fine.

03.03.2025 (03/03/2025) - the Android version of the game has been temporarily removed. The APK will be rebuilt using a newer Android SDK.

28.02.2025 (02/28/2025) - added ".apk"-version of the game for Android devices (saving/loading is temporarily not working).
